In General there are six main classes of animals, which includes Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, Invertebrates and Fish.


Mammals are a group that include warm-blooded animals with hair and backbones. These include pets, deer, monkeys, apes, lion anf tigers.


Birds are warm-blooded vertebrate animals adapted for flight. Among different types, many are capable of flying while other can run fast.


Reptiles have special skin made up of scales, bony plates, or a combination of both. lizards, snakes, turtles and crocodiles are common examples .


Amphibians are small vertebrates that need water, or a moist environment, to survive. These include frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts.


Invertebrate is a cold-blooded animal with no backbone. Invertebrates can live on land like insects, spiders, & worms or in water.


Fish are aquatic, gill-bearing animals that lack limbs with digits. Fishes are wet scalled vertebrates living in water both in sea water & fresh water.
